Back in Stresa, you can shop, stroll, swim, enjoy the local cuisine and wine , then return home to your Swiss chalet..yes all of this in just a day.

Bettmeralp, a Unesco world heritage site, is a car free village high above the Rhone valley in the vicinity of the Aletch glacier. Guests have a chance to stroll through the village and visit it's famous chapel.

Montreux, situated on beautiful Lake Geneva, is home to the Chillon Castle (1150) made famous by Lord Byron in his poem, "The Prisoner of Chillon". Montreux, well known for the Montreux jazz festival, is an easy day trip from your homebase of Kandersteg and an obvious add on to our day in the vineyards above the lake or just as a journey in itself.
