Saltwater Marsh trail Halifax, Nova Scotia. Distance: 6.5 km. Easy hike along an abandoned rail bed. At high tide, you are surrounded by a salt marsh, at low tide, it exposes mudflats, sandbars and beds of eel grass. The area attracts a multitude of ducks, geese, herons and bald eagles.
